Frequently asked questions
How do billing windows work?
Paid plans include usage on rolling time windows — a 5-hour window and a weekly window — rather than a fixed monthly pool. Limits reset as each window rolls forward, so bursty days don’t exhaust a whole month at once. Pricing is the same Anthropic-style, time-windowed model the Aurora apps run on.
What happens if I go past the included usage?
AI usage pauses when you reach a window’s limit and picks up again as the window rolls forward. Nothing is billed beyond your plan’s price, so there are no surprise bills. To get more room in every window, move to a bigger plan.
What does the Free plan include?
A Free account includes 2 GB of Drive storage and no AI usage; AI usage in Chat comes with Pro and Max. No card is required to create one.
What’s the difference between Max 5x and Max 20x?
Both Max tiers give you everything in Pro with multiplied limits. Max 5x ($100/mo) includes 5× Pro’s usage and 500 GB of Drive; Max 20x ($200/mo) includes 20× the usage and 2,000 GB of Drive, for heavy, all-day workloads.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you like from your account — there’s no commitment. Annual billing is offered at a discount for transparency; monthly is the default.
Do all the Aurora apps share one account?
Yes. One Aurora account and plan cover Chat, Drive, Docs and Arcade under a single sign-in.
